Text Box: My third trip here and each time is better… Star Tower gazing morning and night.  Hikes to Ram Head and Brown Bay.  Cooking really good food for my sweetie and three good friends. What a way to relax. We enjoyed snorkeling at Salt Pond.

Text Box: BEST BEACH -  Cinnamon, Honeymoon, and Trunk.  BEST SNORKLING -  Waterlemon, Jumbie and Francis.  BEST BURGER -  Skinny Legs,  FAVORITE  HIKE - Reef Bay Trail and Lanister Walk.BEST PLACE TO STAY -  Spyglass Hill…

Text Box: Fun snorkeling and simply bathing.  We loved dipping rum drinks on the deck.  Now we know what people mean when they say “Tropical Paradise.”

Text Box: Bailey Thomas is here on St. John for his second visit.  Given that he is barley 14 months old, we think that’s a good start.  We feasted at our first ever “Full Moon Party” at Miss Lucy’s.  Fantastic food and music.  We think that Bailey’s favorite beach might be Europa.  We found a little rock pool for him to sit in where small waves could wash in.

Text Box: Elisa’s first trip to St. John has been wonderful.  With plenty of time to relax and get used to island pace, she’s taken to the water like a fish.  The North Shore beaches have been her favorites, loving the crystal blues and white sands.  We explored to ruins at Annaberg and learned about the Danish slave trade and sugar plantation.  We also saw some old family friends at the Emmaus Moravian Church in Coral Bay at their very welcoming 9:00 AM service.  Thanks for all the memories...

Text Box: Skye’s (age six months old) first trip to St. John.  I suppose I may have been so old on my first visit, though I hardly remember.  Sage (age 10) Sierra (age 8) have reached that incredible age when sharp memories of past joys sparks such anticipation and desire.  Pulling the girls out of school gave us the opportunity for a little home school, this years topics: St. John history and ecosystems.
The best part of the trip was sharing it with Katherine, John and Bailey T.  The cousins, in particular, developed a nice bond.

Text Box: Molly and Don are here for two weeks of serious reading, writing and loafing after a way to busy fall semester teaching at Smith.  We also swam, hiked and worked on the house and yard.  We also spent time daily with Miss Lucy.  Back to frigid New England – frozen pipes, schools closed due to cold! Not eager to leave sunny lovely St. John.  Molly
